Wondering why you need to take all those measurements! The reason is that a scale only measures one aspect of our body its mass. The scale doesn't see that you may be gaining muscle in your biceps whilst your stomach is shrinking. When one follows a diet you start to lose body fat and with exercise you gain muscle instead - that's good! The body uses more energy to maintain muscle so that helps to increase weight loss further.
